Preventative Maintenance
An Annual Safety Check of Your Garage Door Is Important
Too often, our garage doors and garage door openers go unnoticed until they aren't working properly. These days, the garage door has become the major point of entry into our homes, and if you have children, they love to play in or around the garage. To keep your family safe, we suggest you have an annual safety and maintenance check of your garage door at least once a year.
Safety inspection includes:
- Lubrication and inspection of all moving parts
- checking and adjusting the spring tension
- inspection of cables, rollers, hinges and pulley's
- We also test the safety reversing feature on your garage door opener.
Note: Garage door springs and parts are dangerous and should only be services by a trained garage door technician.
